What is love, do you know?

I will tell anyhow.

Love is patient and kind

Towards men, foe or friend.

It is not jealous

At others successes.

It forgives and forgets

All the wrongs done to it.

It will never be proud,

Humility is its pride.

It is not provoked

But remains subdued.

It does no evil

But possess good will.

It rejoices in the truth

And praises God of truth.

It is never selfish

But respects others wish.
