God is Love

God is Love, this I know

The Bible tells me so.

How true it is, do you know

I will tell the reason now.

God does not treat us,

As our sins deserve.

Nor does He repay us

For our wrongs and sins.

But gave us Jesus His Son,

Who saved us from our sin.

While we were yet sinners,

Jesus Christ died for us.

Won’t you agree now

That God is Love?
