Jesus the Good Shepherd

Jesus is the good shepherd

For them who are in His herd.

It is He who leadeth them

In rain, shine or deepest gloom.

He knows all of them by name,

When they stray, calls by their name.

Food and drink He gives them,

Strong and good He keeps them.

Lame and sick He carries them

And takes tender care of them.

He loves ever one of them

Even the bad among them.

He giveth His life for them

To give eternal life to them.
