Our Daily Bread

We pray for our daily bread,

When the Lord’s prayer is said.

Man not only lives on bread

But lives on God’s every word.

When His word is daily read,

Every hungry soul is fed.

“I am the living bread”.

This is what Jesus said.

Every word of Jesus Christ

Is a bread of sweetest taste.

This is the bread of life,

Which gives eternal life.

Won’t you taste and see

How good it is to thee?
