Raymond Corporate Wear

Suited for business

A website tailored to business men who need to be dressed to the nines.

The Challenge:

Raymond has for long been a brand that has been synonymous with special occassions. The most common one being weddings. The company was seeking to tap into the younger affluent Indian male and wanted him to consider owning a suit as a matter of business and not just something you wore when you walked down the aisle.
The Work

The Solution:

The Corporate Wear website from Raymond was conceived as website that would act as a field guide for men who needed to make their mark whether in their daily business, travel or for an interview. A variety of tips and tricks for each was conceived. Such as the ways in which you could tie a tie for your interview. Or how to pack your suit jacket for a business trip to ensure that it doesn’t arrive all crumpled up. A text based role playing game even put users into a mock interview and asked them questions. If you did choose a wrong answer, you were told why that wasn’t the optimal answer in a real world situation. Style Guides and TV Commercials were the icing on the cake.

The Experience

Project Diary:

Buttoned up for business

What was truly interesting about creating this site were two things. The crafting of the site content with the help of Shailen Sohoni and content resources that he had at his disposal as THE custodian of the Raymond brand for the agency. His help lead me to discover a lot more sartorial advice than I could dredge up on my own at the time. The second interesting thing was creating our very first interactive quiz game. The later was supposed to be a situational quiz that was to get people prepared for their interviews. It is always nice when we test the waters with something new and this quiz was that for us.
