Visa

Swiping a smile onto your face.

How I helped Visa win with with Social.

The Challenge:

Visa was looking to fill in a tactical gap in its social media communications. While it had several campaigns brewing (Uncle Sim) to broaden visibility for the brand, it needed something to keep the momentum running between campaigns on social media. A slew of tactical posts were required to connect across a wide range of promotions from travel offers to supermarket tie ups.

The Work

The Solution:

As part of the social media calendar and strategy I was required to jump in and help craft several social media posts that were in sync with existing campaigns. The posts were crafted around promotions such as a flower festival, shopping discounts and invites to exclusive exhibitions. There were also posts that lent a personal touch like commemorating mothers on Mothers Day. The key to these posts were to ensure that they were not only factual, but came across in a clever manner.

The Experience

Project Diary:

Key highlights

The opportunity to write posts for VISA was more than just churning out some tactical posts. I am grateful for Joe Braithwaite and Dorothy Peng for providing me with this unique opportunity to flex my creative muscle for contributing to this work. But perhaps it was the ability to work with other teams in Proximity that really made this really interesting. Whether it was Sean or Charis.

What's more I did get an opportunity to experimenting with writing inital social media copy for the Uncle Sim campaign which was kicking off just as I was about to leave the agency.
